My name is Donna Fabian. I grew up on a dairy farm near Christie (Heckville Dairy) and still help out on weekends and in the summer. I graduated from Neillsville High School in 1987 and received my bachelor's degree from UW-Eau Claire in elementary education and learning disabilities in 1992. I began my teaching career at Franklin Elementary in Wausau. In 1997, I started teaching in the Neillsville School District and have taught special education, middle school langauge arts, and Title One reading. I earned a master's degree in reading from UW-Eau Claire. Besides working with struggling readers in five year old kindergarten, first, and second grade, I'm the Neillsville School District Literacy Coach. I'm receiving training for this position through Viterbo University. When not at school, I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with my critters (English Lop rabbits, ducks, geese, and Hereford beef cattle) on our hobby farm.
